From Point A to Z

February 1999
Jared Smith and Ted Kouri find themselves in Europe and embark on a two-month backpacking trip (to nowhere) together, with the intent to "brainstorm amazing ideas for new ways to market companies". After eight weeks of touring old churches (and a few European pubs), they develop a concept for Incite Solutions Inc. during a walk around a lake in Zurich, Switzerland.

June 1999
Using information gained through a pre-established network of business leaders, Jared and Ted found Incite Solutions and create new ways for owners and managers to market their organizations.

June 2000
Jared and Ted retire their TV trays in Jared's basement and open their first office in the Boardwalk Building in downtown Edmonton. One night, Ted paints for 11 hours straight in preparation for Incite’s first open house—still a company record.

May 2002
Incite Solutions launches Thrive™, an outsourced marketing model that revolutionizes relationship marketing. Within months of launching the model, Incite reports "never experienced before" levels of growth.

July 2002
Shortly after successfully hiring Incite's first marketing manager, Christine LeLacheur, Incite acquires design firm, Dream on Design Company. Award-winning designer Darren Tonn joins forces with Incite.

March 2003
Incite hires its second marketing manager and is soon forced to expand into a larger office in the Dorchester Building in downtown Edmonton.

June 2004
Incite's expansion continues and due to their unique approach to doing business and rapid growth, Jared and Ted are awarded the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Award through the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

December 2005
Incite experiences growth at unprecedented levels, doubling in size in less than a year. Incite's team expands to 13 full-time staff and several outside contractors. Incite’s success is recognized—it’s named one of Alberta's top 40 "Cool Companies" in 2005.

June 2006
As Incite celebrates its seventh anniversary, the team continues to grow, with Frank Olaya joining the growing team. Originally from Columbia, Frank is an international intern with AIESEC Canada, a student-based association.

July 2006
Office expansion! Incite’s team is now comprised of 14 marketing whizzes (with more to come). The existing office space can no longer hold everyone comfortably, so Incite knocks down a wall to bring the total space to over 4,500 sq. ft. (4,539 sq. ft. to be exact).

October 2007
At 22 full-time in-house professionals, Incite is recognized as a "major player" in the marketing and advertising industry in Western Canada. Through its focus on unique client relationships, Incite is poised for further success and continued innovation.
