Daytona Named "Builder of the Year" at 2007 SAM Awards

On Saturday, March 17, 2007, the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Edmonton Region recognized excellence and professionalism in the residential construction industry at the 27th Annual Edmonton SAM (Sales and Marketing) Awards. The Daytona Group of Companies was the top winner of the evening, taking home ten awards. Among the awards won by Daytona were the Customer Choice Award (Large Volume Builder - Multi-Family), which is the only award decided by customer votes, and the coveted Grand SAM Award (Builder of the Year - Single Family), which represents excellence in all categories.

In the competition against Edmonton's great builders, Daytona also won Best Model - Single Family under 1500 Sq. Ft., Best Model - Multi-Family under 1100 Sq. Ft., Best Newspaper or Magazine Ad (Colour), and Best Television Commercial (both award-winning ad and commercial were conceptualized and produced by Incite Solutions). Three of Daytona's top salespeople also won awards: Dave English for the Bronze Plateau and Sales Person of the Year - Single Family, Dallas Hutchinson for the Sales Person of the Year - Multi-Family, and Pam Puri-Alexander for Rookie of the Year - Multi-Family.
